Meet Our Staff

Holly Adrowski

I'm very excited to be the new administrator at Montessori Learning Path. I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management. Because of my extensive hands on experience and education, I feel I have the background required to oversee the operations here at Montessori Learning Path. If you need anything at all please do not hesitate to contact me at the school Monday thru Friday 7:45 - 3:15.  When I am not in the office my son and I are busy doing "Rockford" things.

Ms. Julie

I started working at Montessori Learning Path in 1988. I am a Directress of one of the 3-6 programs. I also teach a p.m. class two days a week. I am married with two children. I enjoy the teaching profession and especially working with young children. I do enjoy having summers off. This gives me the opportunity to enjoy my hobbies: reading, gardening, traveling, and exercising.

Ms. Nancy

I have been with Montessori Learning Path since 2004. I am an Assistant in the 3-6 AM class, and also in the 2 day PM Montessori class with Ms. Julie.  I truly enjoy working with children for they are all very unique.

Ms. Mary

I am the 3-6 Directress for one of the a.m. Montessori classes. It has been a pleasure to be at Montessori Learning Path since 1995. I have great respect for the Montessori method of teaching. Being in the classroom with the children is such a renewing experience. My Montessori training was completed through Midwest Montessori Teaching Training Center in Evanston, Illinois. I have also completed early childhood classes at Rock Valley College. My Family moved to Rockford in 1990. I have five grown children and eleven grandchildren. I enjoy hanging out with my husband, working on gegealogy, and gardening.

Ms. Susanne

It is a pleasure that I am the Assistant Directress in Ms. Mary's AM Montessori Class again this year. Also, I will be with the children in the Morning Care program. I am married to Mark and I have two wonderful sons, Andrew and Brendan (both MLP graduates!). During my teen years I lived in a beautiful town in Southeastern Germany. I graduated from a German High School and returned to Rockford in 1982. I received my second high school diploma from West High School and then attended Rock Valley College, majoring in Liberal Arts and Science. During the summer, I spend most of my time relaxing on my patio. I love Anderson Gardens, knitting socks, gardining, and playing the piano. I enjoy working with each unique little friend for they are truly special!

Ms. Kathy

I am both the directress in the Two year old room and the 3-6 p.m. Montessori class. I have worked in Montessori for over 20 years. I began at Barrington Montessori in 1983. The majority of my Montessori teaching experience was spent at Buffalo Grove Montessori and then due to geographical relocation, on to Montessori Pathways in Crystal Lake working and learning from former and present MECA trainers and finally, I am resting here at Montessori Learning Path. Although I began my career in Montessori to give my three children a well rounded educational foundation, based on an internal love of learning, I find myself still here (as they have been long gone) to pass the same onto others. One thing I really love about my job is that no two days are EVER THE SAME!

Ms. Kara

I joined the Montessori Learning Path family as the Drawing Board Teacher for both the morning and afternoon classes during the 2005-06 school year.  Prior to teaching here I worked with children ages birth tp five years planning and implementing parent-child interaction groups through the Rockford Early Childhood Program for Families.  I am a Rockford native, and being the second oldest of eight siblings have taken care of children in some capacity for much of my life.  Family is very important to me.  I am married and have three chldren of my own who are often consulted about which works and projects will be most appealing in the classroom.  I particularly enjoy re-purposing items for decoration as well as function.  Other interests include photography, books, gardening, bike riding, and shopping.

Ms. Esmeralda

I am excited to start my third year here, as the business manager. I have lived in Rockford my whole life, graduated from Auburn High School and then graduated from Rockford Business College. I am married and have two children, my son Tyler who also attends Montessori Learning Path and my daughter Jayla. During my free time, (if there is such a thing!) I enjoy spending time scrap booking, taking photos, and shopping.

Mr. Maurice

Mr. Maurice is a Montessori parent and the Spanish Teacher.

Ms. Johanna

I'm excited to start my 2nd year here at Montessori Learning Path as a 2 year old teacher.  Before starting here I was a stay at home mom to my children;  Justin age 7 and Jason age 4. I have been married to my wonderful husband just shy of 10 years. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University in Psychology/Early Childhood. I have worked with young children for 20 years. I enjoy watching them change and grow from day to day.

Ms. Rose

I started with Montessori Learning Path in 2008 in the PM Drawing Board class with Ms. Kara.
