Testimonials
From the Althoff Family:
We have sent all four of our children to Montessori Learning Path through Kindergarten. By doing this our children are excellently prepared for first grade. They entered the Roscoe public school system ready to listen and learn. The first grade teachers are extremely impressed by how well our children manage their time, work well by themselves and participate in group projects. Our children are leaders and help other children in the learning process. By the time they entered elementary school they have all been able to read beginner books, write simple sentences and do addition with the understanding of the concept of place value. These skills have been invaluable in allowing our children to adapt to a full day of learning. They have built upon those basic skills and excelled year after year with both of the older children invited to join the honors program in 4th grade. I highly recommend the program at MLP and am forever gratefrul to the wonderful teachers who have given our children the foundation to continue to excel.
From the Brauns Family:
As a parent of three children who have gone through Montessori Learning Path preschool and kindergarten, I am proud to say that I attribute their success in grade school to their training at MLP! My children were reading and writing by the time they reached kindergarten and I feel that their Montessori training helped facilitate in that accomplishment. Class size and individual attention along with Maria Montessori's philosophy is a perfect environment for learning. My initial concern was that the transition to a traditional (desk & chairs) classroom for first grade would be difficult. That concern was immediately dismissed when my children excelled in their new school.
From the Confer Family:
The Montessori philosophy and the staff at MLP have helped to bring my son from a world-weary toddler to a self-confident boy. The Montessori classrooms at MLP have been a wonderful foundation for my son's preschool education. He truly has developed a passion for learning that is so wonderful to see. Through the Montessori philosophy his surroundings, at school, home and even on the playground offer an opportunity to learn and grow. I believe that this concept, once learned, moves the child and parent, together, to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world of learning. I can't say enough about how pleased our family is with MLP. I believe that providing a young child with even one year of the Montessori experience would truly benefit him/her and help them on their way into blossoming into respectful people and lifelong learners.
